After an insightful trip to Cartagena, Colombia, exploring its construction and real estate landscape, we had the opportunity to stop over in Miami to take a closer look at its booming yet challenging construction industry.


Miami’s construction industry is one of the most dynamic sectors in Florida, driven by rapid population growth, high demand for real estate, and large-scale infrastructure projects. From luxury high-rises to mixed-use developments and major transportation upgrades, construction remains a key pillar of Miami’s economy. However, the industry faces significant challenges, including dangerous working conditions, labor shortages, and rising construction costs.


Let’s explore the current landscape of Miami’s construction sector, the obstacles it faces, and what the future holds.


Miami’s Booming Construction Market
